Early adopters of Buzz

FBTwitterEmailMore

There are a few early adopters for the Google Buzz, which regular users are still trying to figure out what exactly it is. We received at least a dozen questions (and some on the Buzz itself) asking “What is this Buzz ?”. However, there are a few notable organizations that have used Buzz so far. One is Samsung – http://www.google.com/profiles/buzzsamsung . Gathering a decent 500+ followers within 2 days, it seems this trend is going to be hot with many brands. To a point, where TechCrunch predicts that  it can get real annoying. But interesting thing is that they themselves have added a “Buzz It” button for all their blog postings.

Our buzz profile is http://www.google.com/profiles/socialnetgate and we plan to use Buzz for our brand as well as the brands that we promote on behalf our customers SocialNetGate customers.

“Computer users aged 55 and over are the fastest growing group to sign up to sites such as Facebook and MySpace, often using them to keep up to date with the lives of family and friends, especially grandchildren interstate and overseas – assuming they aren’t among the growing number of younger users abandoning the social networking sites.

Figures show that the number of older users of Facebook increased nearly tenfold in America last year, while university-age users declined by 55 per cent.”
